This policy explains what MedicarePrepare collects when you use the Agent Contracting Center, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

Who this policy covers

MedicarePrepare Agent Contracting Center is a division of MedicarePrepare, an independent insurance agency. This policy applies to this website and to the contracting, licensing, and certification services we provide to insurance agents through it. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of the insurance carriers, testing vendors, or third-party platforms we may link you to — those companies have their own policies, and we encourage you to read them.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically when you browse.

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
• Professional details you submit to start or transfer a contract — resident state, National Producer Number, license numbers, lines of authority, carrier appointments, and your current or prior upline.
• Anything else you choose to include when you contact us, request a release, or ask a question.

Information collected automatically

• Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand which pages agents actually use.

How we use your information

• To process contracting, appointment, and release requests with insurance carriers on your behalf.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To send you information you asked for, and reminders about certification and licensing deadlines that affect your ability to sell.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website.
• To meet legal, regulatory, and carrier compliance obligations.

Mobile Information

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message service used to deliver the messages. All other categories of data are subject to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

If you give us your mobile number, you may receive recurring informational and account-related text messages from us about agent contracting, certification deadlines, and carrier updates. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of contracting with us. When we share information

We share your information only where it is necessary to do what you have asked us to do, or where the law requires it:

• Insurance carriers and their contracting platforms — to submit appointments, contracting paperwork, and release requests you have authorized.
• Service providers who run our operations — for example our CRM, email and text message delivery providers, and e-signature vendors. They may use your information only to perform work for us.
• When required by law — in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, our agents, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep pages functioning, remember choices you make, and measure general usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working as intended.

Your choices

• Email — every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may still receive necessary messages about a contract you have in progress.
• Text messages — reply STOP to any message to opt out.
• Access and correction — contact us using the details below to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Some records must be retained to satisfy carrier and regulatory requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us, and afterward for as long as we are required to by carrier agreements, insurance regulations, and applicable record-keeping law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for licensed insurance agents and individuals pursuing insurance licensure. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Third-party sites

This site links to carrier portals, testing vendors, state insurance departments, and other outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
