Who this site is for

This site is built for licensed insurance agents and for individuals working toward insurance licensure. The information here is general and educational. It is not legal, tax, or compliance advice, and it is not a substitute for the guidance of your state department of insurance or of the carriers you contract with.

We are not affiliated with, connected to, or endorsed by the United States government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, or the federal Medicare program.

Information on this site is intended for licensed insurance agents and individuals pursuing insurance licensure. It is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, or compliance advice. Carrier appointments, commission levels, and contracting requirements are set by each carrier and are subject to change without notice. Licensing requirements, exam fees, and certification costs vary by state and are subject to change — always confirm current requirements with your state department of insurance and with each carrier.

Contracting and appointments

• Submitting a contracting request through this site does not create a contract. A contract exists only when the carrier issues an appointment.
• Carriers set their own appointment standards, background check requirements, certification deadlines, and commission schedules, and may change them at any time.
• Release and transfer decisions are made by the carrier and by your current upline under the terms of your existing agreements. We can guide you through the process; we cannot compel a release.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit, including license numbers, your National Producer Number, and your appointment history.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain your license, certifications, and errors-and-omissions coverage as required by your state and by each carrier.
• Comply with all applicable laws and with CMS marketing rules when selling Medicare products.
• Do not use this site to submit false information, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose.

Third-party links

This site links to carrier portals, testing vendors, state insurance departments, and other outside resources as a convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours.

Intellectual property

The content, layout, and materials on this site are owned by MedicarePrepare or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own use as an agent. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute the material without our written permission.

Availability

We aim to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment.

Limitation of liability

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
